A single feather drifting through a pale, empty sky, a symbol of lost wings and unanswered questions.

Even for a Day

Sometimes the hardest question isn’t why we fell, but why we were allowed to fly at all. “Even for a Day” is a poem written from frustration, honest and unfinished, for anyone who has ever wondered whether the sky is truly the limit.

I wrote this on a day I was frustrated, and I chose not to soften it. Not every poem needs to end with an answer. If these words found you at the right time, I’m glad.
