Social media impact on teenagers.
Things have become faster and more apparent in today’s social and digital world. Thanks to the different gadgets and applications, there are tools to make pictures look flawless. But, do we stop to ask ourselves if what we are seeing is real or edited?
Our world is full of advertisements, and they are everywhere: hoardings, social media, and many more. I strongly agree that young people, especially teenagers, are influenced by what they see on social media. They start believing what they see or read. Everything has two sides, and I agree that exposure is good, but today’s youth is getting too affected. By visiting posts on different social media platforms, people start comparing, which makes them lack confidence and develop self-esteem issues.
Parents come first when it comes to comparing their children with other children, be it in class works, projects, exams, activities, grades, looks and physics and more. With all this added pressure, teenagers start comparing themselves to the outer world in every area.
Why are the skills of an individual not given importance? Nowadays, all smartphones and gadgets come with free applications for editing and highlighting videos and pictures. The young generation sees this and gets attracted to them. They start getting affected by social media and become restless. They forget that God has made all individuals unique and special in their own way.
Being constantly invested in social media, children have become aloof and busy in their own world. As a result, they have become severe and reserved, forgetting their innocence.
Parents can do a lot to help children cope with this situation. Mobiles and gadgets should be kept aside, and parents should encourage more family time. They should have more open discussions at home. At times, children need attention. They need to be listened to and allowed to open up. Parents should understand their mental state and know what their children do on the internet. They should try and spend more time with them and make beautiful memories. Life is not easy, but indeed, it’s a precious gift from GOD.
Every creation is unique. We just have to find our remarkable quality and enhance it. We might not be good at everything, but we will definitely be good at something. Perfection can be achieved through hard work and dedication. Parents should stay connected with their children and mould them in such a way so that they become better human beings and responsible citizens of tomorrow.

I strongly believe n agree with you that little exposure is good, but more than gadget n social media kids need to learn from real world, when they really face any struggle in life , they seems to be unware of what to do? how to take it? And lots of unanswered question left in their mind…

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone and tested to

Everything posted was very reasonable. However, think on this, what if you typed a catchier title?
I am not saying your content is not good., however suppose you added something
that makes people want more? I mean In search of perfection – lamiyasiraj.com is kinda vanilla.
You might look at Yahoo’s front page and note how they
create post titles to get viewers to click. You might try
adding a video or a related picture or two to grab people interested
about what you’ve written. In my opinion, it would bring your blog a little livelier.
